Uluwatu Temple is another stunning oceanfront temple that offers panoramic views of the sea from towering cliffs. The temple is also known for its traditional Kecak dance performance during sunset, which we made sure not to miss. The performance, with its rhythmic chants and depiction of the Ramayana, was captivating. The sunset over the cliffs was the perfect way to end our visit here.

5. Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
In the heart of Ubud lies the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, home to hundreds of playful monkeys. As animal lovers, my husband and I enjoyed wandering through the forest, watching the monkeys in their natural habitat. 6. Mount Batur
One of the most exciting parts of our trip was the sunrise trek to Mount Batur. We also made a stop at a local coffee farm, where we had the chance to try Kopi Luwak, one of the most unique and expensive coffees in the world. The farm tour was educational, and we learned about the process of making this special coffee, which involves civet cats eating coffee cherries. The coffee had a smooth and rich flavor, and we couldn’t resist buying some to bring home as a souvenir.
8. Tegenungan Waterfall
Our journey through Bali wouldn’t have been complete without visiting a waterfall, and Tegenungan Waterfall was the perfect spot. Surrounded by lush greenery, this waterfall is easily accessible and great for a refreshing dip. We spent some time here, soaking in the cool waters and admiring the beautiful surroundings.
9. Bali Safari & Marine Park
For a fun and family-friendly experience, we visited Bali Safari & Marine Park. The park offers a unique safari experience, where you can see animals like elephants, tigers, and rhinos up close. It’s a great place for animal lovers, and we even got to enjoy an elephant ride. The park is well-organized and a great day out for both couples and families.
10. Ubud Palace
Our final stop was Ubud Palace, a historic landmark in the center of Ubud. The palace is the residence of the royal family and offers a glimpse into Bali’s traditional architecture and culture. We admired the intricate carvings and beautiful gardens before heading to the nearby market to shop for souvenirs.
